Kidnap survivor Elizabeth Smart to speak in Boise later this month
Elizabeth Smart will be speaking in Boise later this month at the Smart Women, Smart Money conference.
Idaho Treasurer Ron Crane is hosting the conference, which will be held Oct. 26 at the Boise Centre. The event is supposed to help "everywoman" gain financial literacy.
Smart was kidnapped from her Salt Lake City home in 2002, when she was just 14-years-old. She was found in 2003 in Sandy, Utah along with her captors. She was married earlier this year, and works as a correspondent for ABC News.
