In-person absentee voting for Canyon County begins Tuesday
In person absentee voting in Canyon County will begin on Tuesday, October 9 for the November 6 General Election, according to Joe Decker with Canyon County.
"Absentee in-person voting will be available starting October 9th at the Canyon County Elections Office located at 1102 E. Chicago Street in Caldwell," said Decker. "Absentee in-person voting is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The last day to vote absentee in-person will be Friday, November 2nd. Voters will have until 5:00 p.m. to cast their ballot on the final day."
Voters can also request an absentee ballot be sent to them by mail, but you must be registered at your current address. Written requests must be received in the Elections Office by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31.
