Injury crash on US26 sends six to hospital
On October 6, 2012 at 9:38 pm, Idaho State Police responded to an injury crash westbound on US26 at mile marker 396, east of the Palisades Reservoir.
Elsie L. Cody, 79 of Blackfoot, was traveling westbound on US26 in a 2000 Chevrolet Impala when he drifted off the road and overcorrected causing the vehicle to roll in to embankment.
Cody and five other passengers; Kitrena I. Pannel, 55 of Blackfoot ; Kasondra R. Pannel, 21 of Pocatello ; Katie K. E. Higgins, 41 of Blackfoot ; Mary A. Findlay, 57 of Blackfoot ; and Katina I. Jackman, 36 of Pocatello; were all transported by ground ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
All occupants of the vehicle were wearing their seatbelts.
