SEAL ROCK, Ore. (AP) -- Oregon State Police say a 28-year-old commercial truck driver from Orofino, Idaho, is dead after his truck went off U.S. Highway 101 on the Oregon coast, through a ditch and struck an embankment.
Sgt. Cari Boyd identified the trucker who died Thursday as Drew Elliot.
Both the tractor cab and its trailer overturned on their side. Elliot was pronounced dead at the scene. Boyd says the truck was traveling about 30 mph.
