Man allegedly attacks woman, steals $200, passes out nearby
An Idaho Falls man was arrested Wednesday night, Oct. 3, for robbery and attempted strangulation after police were called to a domestic disturbance.
According to reports, Idaho Falls Police responded to the call around 8 p.m. on the 2500 block of First Street. Witnesses said that Jimmie Hyde, 42, and the 40-year-old female victim got into an argument in a car and Hyde began punching and strangling her.
Hyde then allegedly stole $200 from the woman and left. Police found him nearby a short time later passed out in another vehicle, owned by a friend.
