Stoner pleads guilty to Idaho drug charges
BOISE, Idaho (AP) -- A 33-year-old man from Boise pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court to one count of offering drug paraphernalia for sale.
Anthony Stoner is now the eighth defendant to plead guilty over the past two months in federal court to the charge of offering drug paraphernalia for sale.
They're among people charged in May as part of a federal sting operation, called Not for Human Consumption, targeting drug paraphernalia sales at 13 businesses in southeastern Idaho.
Stoner and the others charged were associated with businesses that agents refer to as "headshops."
Federal law prohibits the sale of paraphernalia primarily intended or designed for drug use.
The sting involved numerous agencies, including the FBI, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Nampa Police Department and the Ada County Sheriff's office.
