Idaho Voters' Pamphlet being mailed to Idaho voters this week
With the election just weeks away, Secretary of State Ben Ysursa is letting voters know that the 2012 Idaho Voters' Pamphlet will be coming in the mail this week.
Secretary Ysursa also wants to remind voters that party registration requirements have no effect on procedures in the general election, like it did in the primaries. “My office has received several inquiries concerning the General Election and party affiliation," said Ysursa. "Party affiliation does not apply to the General Election and all voters will be able to vote for the candidates and issues of their choice, without regard to the political affiliation of the candidate or the voter.”
The pamphlet will contain information on two proposed constitutional amendments and Propositions 1, 2 and 3, as well as statements for and against each referendum.
The Idaho Voters’ Pamphlet is being mailed to 639,067 residences and post office boxes in Idaho.
