The young firefighter who allegedly set a devastating fire in Boise County faced a judge today.
Nathaniel Bartholomew waived his right to a preliminary hearing.
The Boise County Sheriff's office says Bartholomew may have started the fire to get attention from his father.
The fire, which began on September 17, destroyed one home and threatened 100 others. It burned more than 400 acres in the Robie Creek area.
Bartholomew faces felony arson charges. His next court appearance is scheduled for next week.
