Ustick and Ten Mile intersection now complete with signal
Construction on the Ustick Road and Ten Mile Road intersection is now complete and the new traffic signal has been put into operation, said Christine Myron with the Ada County Highway District.

"The new signal replaces a four-way stop and will increase safety and reduce delays for the 17,000 motorists that currently use the intersection each day," said Myron. "The improvement project, which started in May, also added a left and right turn lane to each intersection approach and bike lanes. An additional through travel lane was constructed on each approach and will be utilized when improvements are made in the future along Ten Mile and Ustick."
Another project is planned and is set to widen Ten Mile between Cherry and Ustick as well as adding a curb, gutter, sidewalk and bike lanes. That project is planned for 2015.
