Ben Stein to speak at Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce's annual gala
The Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce has announced that Ben Stein will be the speaker at their 129th Annual Gala Dinner will be held on October 9. The event will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. at the Boise Centre.
Stein was a speech writer for Presidents Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford. "He has been a columnist and editorial writer for The Wall Street Journal, a syndicated columnist for The Los Angeles Herald Examiner and King Features Syndicate," according to BenStein.com. "He currently writes a column for The New york Times Sunday Business Section and has for many years, a column about personal finance for Yahoo!, is a commentator for CBS Sunday Morning, and for Fox News."
Stein has also appeared in numerous movies and television shows, including "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" and "Win Ben Stein's Money".
