23-year-old Nampa man caught breaking into home charged with multiple felonies
Sunday morning, a 23-year-old Boise man was caught breaking into a South Ada County home and has been charged with multiple burglaries.
Just before 5 a.m. Sunday, Ada County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a home on South Snowdrift Place for a report of a burglary that had just happened inside the house. The caller told dispatchers the suspect left the area in a black Saturn car. Deputies responded to the area and immediately set up a perimeter.
One of the responding deputies spotted the suspect vehicle driving west on Lake Hazel and followed the Saturn into the parking lot of Paul’s Market and attempted to pull the car over. The driver of the Saturn did not stop and, instead, drove north onto Five Mile. The Saturn kept going before stopping in the parking lot of a church on LaGrange.
The driver, later identified as Nathan S. Harrington, 23 of Nampa, was taken into custody. While being interviewed, admitted to committing multiple crimes Saturday and Sunday in numerous commercial and residential locations. Detectives recovered all of the stolen property and were able to return it to the owners.
Harrington was charged with four counts of Felony Burglary and one count of Misdemeanor Eluding or Fleeing Police.
