Man gets at least 20 years for molesting boys
BOISE, Idaho (AP) -- A 22-year-old Boise man has been sentenced to at least 20 years in prison for molesting four boys.
Fourth District Judge Cheri Copsey sentenced Clinton Matthews to 20 years to life on Wednesday after he earlier pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual abuse of a minor child under 16 years of age and one count of lewd conduct with a minor.
Prosecutors said Matthews molested four boys, ages 7 to 14, over the past two years.
The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force was investigating Matthews in January for accessing child pornography on his computer. During a search of the house, a 7-year-old boy told officers he had been sexually abused. Further investigation led to three more victims.
