With race for President now in full swing, we seem to be seeing candidates Barack Obama and Mitt Romney pretty much everywhere these days. Now you can even see them … in a cornfield!

Every year, the folks at The Farmstead in Meridian create a corn maze with an appropriate design.

This year’s corn crop is carved into the shapes of the two Presidential candidates with the words “Vote With Your Feet.”

“Maze-goers can lean ‘left or right’ as they navigate the features of their favorite candidate. Meanwhile, those who prefer to keep their bearings outside of the cornfield will enjoy the full flavor of The Farmstead through the hayrides, pumpkin picking, pig races, and much more,” said organizer Hilary Lowe in a news release.]

The Farmstead will be open to the public September 21 through November 3, Monday through Thursday from 4 to 9 pm; Fridays from 4 to 11 pm, and on Saturdays from 10 am to 11 pm. It is closed Sundays.

The Farmstead is located at 1020 South Rackham Way, near I-84 at the Eagle Road exit.
