Volunteer firefighter arrested for starting the Karney Fire
A man was arrested just before 1 a.m. this morning for Arson in regards to the Karney Fire that broke out yesterday.
Nathaniel Bartholomew, 18 of Boise, is a volunteer firefighter with the Robie Creek Fire Department who was on the fire lines last night. Witnesses told authorities they saw Bartholomew near the area when the fire started.

He was pulled off the fire line and later confessed to the crime. One house has already burned in the fire, and many more are still threatened.
