Second victim in Sunday crash identified

A second man has been identified in the crash that took two lives Sunday night near Bliss. The passenger in the car was Hugo Silva-Avalos, 26 of Idaho Falls.

On Sunday just before 9:30 p.m., Idaho State Police were called to a fatality crash on Interstate 84 near Bliss.

According to ISP, Oscar Hernandez-Ramirez, 28 of Caldwell, was driving west on the interstate in a 1994 Honda Accord when he drove off the road way and overcorrected causing the vehicle to roll. Hernandez-Ramirez was ejected from the vehicle and succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash. His passenger died at scene as well. The passenger was wearing a seatbelt.

Interstate 84 was blocked for approximately 3 hours.
