Idaho Falls fishing lure bench returned this morning, police still searching for suspects
Idaho Falls Police have recovered the stolen fishing lure park bench this morning but are still asking assistance in identifying the suspects responsible for its theft.
According to Joelyn Hansen with the Idaho Falls Police Department, the bench, which was taken from the Greenbelt last Tuesday, was found returned around 9:30 a.m. Monday. Officers found it after a tip from a citizen.
The bench was believed to have been dumped at the location earlier Monday morning sometime after 5:30 a.m. Hansen said the bench did not appear to be damaged.
Anyone with information about the bench theft is asked to call the IFPD at 529-1200 or Crimestoppers at 522-1983.
