Fire closes Highway 16
Ada County Sheriff's deputies had to close Highway 16 north of Chapparal to allow access for fire crews working a wildland fire in Gem County. The southbound lanes were are also closed to traffic attempting to drive from Gem County into Ada County.
The road is now back open to traffic.
