The Twin Falls Police Department is reporting that they have been receiving reports of a “business opportunity” scam working its way through the community.

"In this latest rendition of a common scam, the supposed son of a late Ghanaian President has over $95 million that he needs to transfer into a local bank account," according to Officer Dan Heil with the Twin Falls Police. "In the majority of these scams you are promised a large amount of money if you send them your personal information."

The department urges caution any time someone asks for your personal information, and if you have any questions or concerns to call the Twin Falls Police Department.
