Woman arrested on 25 felony counts after allegedly stealing guns from friend
Boise Police arrested a woman Monday afternoon accused of stealing 25 guns valued at more than $20,000.
Boise Police were contacted by the victim, an acquaintance of the suspect, last Friday. The guns were reportedly taken from the victims Boise home. The victim was able to provide officers with a detailed list of the firearms that were missing.
Detectives realized one of the guns reported stolen had been called in by an employee of a local pawn shop last week as being a suspicious sale. They were able to track and recover all the stolen firearms that the suspect had apparently pawned following the theft
Breana C. Chadwell, 22 of Boise, was arrested on 25 counts of Felony Grand Theft and five counts of Felony Burglary.
