Wesley Fire near New Meadows continues to grow

The Wesley Fire continues to grow near New Meadows and is now estimated at around 4,000 acres. An area closure has been issued for Boulder Creek, Upper Lick Creek, Upper Bear Creek and upper Rapid River. The fire continues to burn in a steep and remote area with limited access to the fire.

The fire is burning north- northwest of New Meadows, Idaho in Adams County and is visible from Highway 95 and 55.
