Disruptive bear removed from Avimor and will be relocated
A bear that attempted to break in to a Avimor resident's home Sunday has been captured by the Idaho Department of Fish and Game.
Sunday afternoon, a homeowner called to report a bear was behind their home trying to get into the back door. While deputies were responding, the bear left the back yard and moved toward the creek that runs alongside Highway 55.

Deputies responded and kept watch on the bear while Fish and Game officers responded. Andrea Dearden with the Ada County Sheriff's office said as of Sunday evening, the bear had been tranquilized by officers but was still in a tree.
Dearden said the bear was captured overnight and removed from the Avimor area. He will be relocated this morning.
