KING HILL, Idaho (AP) -- Idaho State Police say a 46-year-old south-central Idaho woman has died and her 9-year-old daughter has been hospitalized after their vehicle was struck by another vehicle and rolled.

Police say Maria Salazar of King Hill and her daughter weren't wearing seatbelts and were ejected when their Trailblazer was struck Saturday morning by a 2005 Toyota Tacoma driven by 96-year-old Vincent Porter of King Hill.

Police say Salazar was eastbound on Old U.S. 30 and Porter southbound on Montgomery Road. Police say Porter turned eastbound onto Old U.S. 30 and struck the back of the Trailblazer.

Police say Salazar died at the scene. Her daughter was taken to a Boise hospital. Porter was wearing a seatbelt and was transported to the Elmore Medical Center.
