U-Idaho Alumna Kristin Armstrong to Appear at the VandalStore in Boise
Looking for a bright weekend story? Mark your daybook for Saturday (Sept. 8) when Kristin Armstrong -- University of Idaho alumna and two-time Olympic Gold Medalist - will make a public appearance from 10 a.m. to noon outside the VandalStore (821 W. Idaho St.) in Boise.
Armstrong will greet fans and sign free posters of herself with London in the background from under a Vandal tent just outside the store during the Capital City's Public Market.
The University of Idaho is hosting her appearance. Fans are invited to bring personal sports memorabilia for Armstrong to sign, too.
To mark the occasion and celebration, Joe Vandal will ring the market's opening bell at 9 a.m.
