Legendary singer Jimmy Buffet set to perform at Taco Bell Arena
Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band will perform at the Taco Bell Arena for one night only on Thursday, October 25th at 8 pm, as part of Jimmy Buffett’s “Lounging at the Lagoon” Tour 2012, according to a news release from Arena officials.
This will be Buffet’s first ever appearance in Boise.
"Boise has waited a long time for the magic of Jimmy Buffett & The Coral Reefer Band!" said Lisa Cochran, Executive Director of Taco Bell Arena. "We are ecstatic for Jimmy to transform the Arena into Margaritaville... it will be the ‘can't miss’ concert of the year."
Buffet has released a new live CD/DVD this summer, which was recorded in Las Vegas last October, and was released on Buffet’s own Mailboat Records. Buffet’s first digital album release, “Volcano – Live 2011,” is available for download through iTunes, and contains new live versions of the songs from this classic album.
Additionally, the game, “Margaritaville,” is now available online -- it's an island virtual-world filled with music, adventure and the Margaritaville lifestyle, the news release said,
