Walkaway Nampa inmate found in Ontario
According to the Idaho Department of Corrections, a Nampa Community Work Center inmate who walked away from his job at the Idaho State Hospital is back in custody.
At 9:25 p.m. Monday, police in Ontario, Ore., found Herbert Glenn Harrod laying on the ground on S.E. 9th Avenue, said Jeff Ray with IDOC. Harrod had been missing since 10:30 a.m. last Friday. He was serving time for burglary and grand theft.
Harrod is being held in the Malheur County jail awaiting extradition to Idaho.
