Nampa woman dies in I-84 crash near Burley
BURLEY, Idaho (AP) -- Police say a 75-year-old Nampa woman died after the car she was driving crashed on Interstate 84 east of Burley.
Idaho State Police say the Juanita Spitzer's vehicle flipped late Saturday afternoon after she changed lanes to pass another vehicle and lost control on the wet roadway.
The Times-News reports that Spitzer and passenger, 56-year-old Rosemarie Edvalson of Eagle were transported to a hospital.
Spitzer died and Edvalson suffered undisclosed injuries. Her condition was not immediately known.
Police say the women were wearing seat belts.
