Payette County investigates homicide
On September 2 just before 7 a.m. the Payette County Sheriff’s Dispatch was notified of a death at a residence on NW 2nd Avenue in Payette County.
A 55-year-old female was found dead inside the residence. At this time, the Payette County Sheriff’s Office and the Idaho State Police are investigating the death as a homicide.
Tyler Naughton, 18, is a person of interest in this case and is wanted for questioning.
Naughton is possibly still in Idaho and may be driving a Tan 2006 Ford F350 Pickup, displaying Idaho license plates 1P3124T.
It has been determined not to be a home invasion and the victim was known to the person of interest. The victim’s name is not being released at this time, pending family notification.
