N. Idaho police investigate death of baby boy
COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP) -- Police in northern Idaho are investigating the death of an infant who was found unconscious at his home in Coeur d'Alene.
The Spokesman-Review reports the father found the baby boy just before 3 p.m. on Wednesday. Police say medical responders were unable to resuscitate the child, who was four months old.
An autopsy was scheduled Thursday and detectives were also setting up interviews as part of their investigation. Police spokeswoman, Sgt. Christie Wood, said she couldn't confirm if family members were being questioned.
Wood says the baby's name was being withheld pending the notification of relatives.
