Day care center raided for drugs
SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. (AP) -- A day care operator in Spokane Valley has been arrested for selling marijuana to several high school students.
Spokane County Sheriff's detectives raided the unlicensed day care Thursday morning and arrested 35-year-old Tina M. Jones.
Jones was caring for children in the same home where detectives seized about 50 marijuana plants. Three children were in the home at the time of the raid. Officials say a Child Protective Services worker was at the house and parents of the children have been notified.
