Logger killed north of Kooskia
KOOSKIA, Idaho (AP) -- Officials in Idaho County say a logger was hit by a falling tree and killed at a logging operation in the Smith Creek area north of Kooskia.
Sheriff's Cpl. Randy Long says the accident was reported shortly before noon Monday.
No other information was immediately available. The identity of the logger is being withheld while family members are notified.
