Coroner identifies man pulled from New York Canal

The Ada County Coroner has released the name of the man whose body was pulled from the New York Canal on Aug. 20.

Darrel Carl Glover, 45, was seen by canal workers Monday morning. He was pulled from the water by divers, and pronounced dead at 9:01 a.m.

The autopsy revealed no sign of obvious injury, and according to Ada Co. Coroner Erwin Sonnenberg, the cause of death is an apparent drowning.

Glover has no fixed address, and family could not be found.

The death is still under investigation, with Manner of Death still listed as "pending."
