Pine and Featherville residents still waiting for call to leave
It has been a full week since Pine and Featherville homeowners were first put on standby to evacuate their homes. Now many are tired of waiting for the call to leave.
Tuesday was quite a smokey day here in this wilderness community. The cool weather kept crews from starting backburns in the Featherville area.
More than 1100 firefighters on the ground battling the wildfire that has charred almost 95-thousand acres.
Their top priority Tuesday was helping with structure protection for homeowners like Pine's Chuck Curtis.
