Montana man's disappearance in Idaho suspicious
WALLACE, Idaho (AP) -- Officials in northern Idaho say the disappearance of a Montana man in late July is now considered suspicious.
Shoshone County officials received a report on Aug. 1 that 32-year-old Brian Edwin Shookman of Great Falls, Mont., was last seen on July 28 in Kellogg. He reportedly left the home of a friend that afternoon and was to travel to an aunt's house near Osburn, just a few miles east on Interstate 90, but did not arrive.
Since the initial report was taken, information has been discovered which leads sheriff's investigators to believe that foul play may be involved in Shookman's disappearance.
Shookman is 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds. He has strawberry blond hair and blue eyes. He was driving a maroon 1998 Ford Escort with Montana license plates.
