ALBANY, Ore. (AP) -- Linn County authorities say an Albany high school metal shop teacher has been accused of paying a teenager to send him sexually explicit images from a cellphone.

The teacher was identified as 45-year-old David Wesley Wright II.

The sheriff's office says the 16-year-old victim is a family acquaintance and is not related to Wright's job at South Albany High School.

Detectives say they are not aware of any other victims.

Wright is accused of sexual abuse and using a child in a display of sexually explicit conduct.

The sheriff's office says it believes the victim sent 200 to 300 images.
