Man damages woman's car with sledgehammer in Boise restaurant parking lot
Boise Police were called to a Boise restaurant around 5:00 p.m. yesterday after a woman called police saying an acquaintance had showed up and took a sledgehammer to her car.
The woman said she and the suspect were involved in an ongoing dispute, and he showed up, "retrieved a sledge hammer from his vehicle and proceeded to smash out the headlights of her car," said Boise Police.
When police showed up, they detained the man, identified as Robert B. Holliday, 54 of Boise, and searched him. They found a plastic bag with meth residue and a digital scale. They then searched his vehicle and found more baggies and a glas meth pipe with residue.
Holliday was arrested on charges of Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth), Malicious Injury to Property and Possession of Drug paraphernalia.
