Two Idahoans die in 2 different motorcycle crashes over the weekend
A 62-year-old Weiser man has died and a woman was injured in a motorcycle crash on State Highway 13 near Kooskia.
The Idaho State Police says Richard Harvey and Judy Harvey were southbound Friday afternoon when the wheel bearings on the trailer he was pulling seized, causing him to lose control.
The motorcycle went off the right shoulder of the road. Judy Harvey was thrown from the motorcycle, which came to rest on Richard Harvey.
Judy Harvey was taken to the hospital in Spokane, Wash., for treatment of her injuries.
And then, Saturday morning, officials in Clearwater County say a 64-year-old Orofino man died in a motorcycle accident on a trail in the Clearwater National Forest.
The sheriff's office says James A. Willis died Saturday morning on the Larch Butte trail.
The Clearwater County Back Country Medical Team responded just before noon Saturday.
No other information on the crash was immediately available.
