It's time for the Canyon County Fair.
The event is known for its live stock and agriculture and the folks in Canyon County are looking forward to another exciting year.
Today, leaders raised the flag to get things started at the fairgrounds. The fair has been a staple of summer fun and entertainment for thousands of visitors.
And this year fair-goers will be able to share and record their experiences.
"Citizens and visitors to this fair throughout its 125th year, their stories are important and we owe that to the next generation to maintain that historic record," county historian Joe Bell said. "So we're gonna be here for three of those days and we'll be available during fair hours. Just come out, talk to us, we'd love to hear your fair story."
The fair starts Friday and runs through the weekend.
