Man arrested for injuring a child under 12
Boise Police, working with representatives from the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, responded to a report of injuries sustained by a child at a residence on South Capistrano Avenue Tuesday afternoon around 3:30 p.m.
The alleged incident reportedly took place Monday at the home. Boise Police detectives have evidence that indicates the suspect was involved in injuring the child, a juvenile under the age of 12.
The child had visible bruises. The police identified the suspect as Israel A. Pineda, 27 of Boise, and the victim are well known to each other.
Pineda was arrested on charges of Felony Injury to a Child.
