A blaze near Mountain Home is still burning on Tuesday.

The Benwalk Fire grew to 25,000 acres in Elmore County.  The wildfire forced several evacuations late Monday, but now residents have returned  back to their homes and businesses.

Crews say the fire is expected to be fully contained by Wednesday morning at around 10 a.m.

Monday night, ISP closed the interstate in both directions for several hours, but I-84 is now completely reopen.  BLM confirms this fire was caused by lightning.  The agency has 18 engines on the front lines this morning.
