IF Police looking for man who robbed convenience store this morning
Idaho Falls Police are searching for a suspect that robbed the Common Cents convenience store on West Broadway in Idaho Falls early Tuesday morning.
According to police, the man was described as a white male, approximately 5’6” tall, 130 pounds, dressed in a hoodie, blue jeans and a white mask or scarf covering his face.
According to reports, police were called to the store just before 3 a.m. The teller told police that the suspect came in while she was in the backroom.
When she returned to the front of the store she saw him standing at the till holding a white plastic grocery sack. He lifted his shirt to show her a gun tucked in his waist band before telling her to put the money in the sack.
She gave him the money and he left on foot headed south and then west.
