$1 million lottery ticket sold in Meridian
The Idaho Lottery is reporting that one winning ticket for last night's $50 million Powerball draw was sold at an Idaho Lottery retail location in Meridian, Idaho.
They confirmed a single ticket matched all five of the first numbers, but not the Powerball number, and is worth $1 million. The winning numbers from last night's draw were 11, 17, 29, 56, 57, and the Powerball number was 14.
"Luck happens every day in Idaho. Last night in addition to the $1 million winner we also had over 3,400 winning tickets that won other prizes on Powerball," said Jeff Anderson, Idaho lottery director. "We are encouraging everyone who played Powerball for last night's draw to check their tickets carefully for winners. Too often we see players not match the Powerball and think they do not have a winning ticket. In this case, the ticket matched all five of the first numbers and is worth $1 million. "
Last night's winner has 180 days to claim their prize from Idaho Lottery headquarters in Boise.
The new estimated Powerball jackpot for Saturday night's draw is now $60 million.
