Four-year old boy hit by car
On Saturday, June 16, around noon, officers of the Mountain Home Police Department and emergency medical personnel responded to a vehicle vs. pedestrian injury accident at Glenn Park Village Mobile Home Park.
The victim was identified as a 4-year old child. The driver was identified as Annette Bigelow, 35 of Mountain Home.
Witnesses said that Bigelow was driving into Glenn Park Village when the boy ran out in front of Bigelow's vehicle. The initial investigation indicates that Bigelow may not have seen the child run out in front of her pickup.
The four-year old was initially being transported to Boise and it was later decided that the child would need to be flown to a Portland area hospital for treatment of his injuries. As of this morning the child has been listed in stable condition.
