Three arrested in overnight Caldwell shooting
Thursday night around 10:30 p.m., Caldwell Police responded to a call of shots fire at a business on S. Montana.
When they arrived, witnesses said a 22-year old male had been shot by occupants of a white passenger car. The victim was soon after located at nearby hospital and treated for a non life threatening gunshot wound.
Based on information from witnesses, officers found the suspected vehicle at a nearby apartment complex. After surrounding the apartment building, the Tactical Response Team was called to the scene where two males and a female ultimately surrendered and were taken into custody without incident.
All three suspects, were arrested and transported to Canyon County Jail. Andres G. Rodriguez, 30 of Caldwell was charged with Resisting and obstructing an officer, Lisa E. Gutierrez, 19 of Caldwell was charged with Possession of paraphernalia and Resisting and obstructing an officer and Cesar O. Rojas, 21 of Caldwell was charged with Aggravated Battery.
