The Idaho Transportation Department will begin a project Monday, May 7 on a 10-mile stretch of U.S. 95 that will involve recycling asphalt shoulders, constructing right-turn lanes, and micro-surfacing the reclaimed shoulders and turn lanes. Work is expected to finish by July 9.

The work will take place from south of Cottonwood to south of Ferdinand, between mileposts 251 and 261 in Idaho County.

Guardrail and illumination work will also occur at Greencreek Road.

Motorists should expect minor delays of up to 15 minutes during construction. Flaggers will be used to direct traffic through the work area.
