Boise Chamber creates travel advisory board in hopes of helping Boise's economy
The Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce has established a Travel Industry Advisory Board. They have assembled more than 20 executives in the local travel industry to be a part of this board, chaired by John Cunningham, CEO of Block 22, LLC.
The board’s purpose is to provide a voice that represents a broad spectrum of interests such as hotels, airlines, the airport, car rental companies, meeting planners, transportation, venues, etc.
“The mission is to give business leaders a means for collaboration, evaluating options and making recommendations to senior Chamber leadership on travel related issues like air service improvements, car rental taxes and local option tax” said Bill Connors, President and CEO of the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce.
