Job burnout risk factors
New research suggests employees who feel they have no other job options are more likely to experience burnout at work.
Canadian researchers followed more than 250 workers in a number of different jobs.
People with high self esteem are most likely to be affected by that perceived lack of opportunities.
Study authors believe that could be the case because the feeling of being stuck in their current position does not match up with how those people view themselves as important and competent.
