A body found in the Snake River Sunday morning has been identified as that of a missing Nampa man.

The Canyon County Coroner has confirmed the body found about three miles south of Marsing is that of Kevin Clemens, 50. Ada County Sheriff’s deputies have been investigating the man’s disappearance since March 19.

Clemens was last seen March 16 in Kuna.

Investigators say there was no evidence of foul play. The Canyon County Coroner tells us a fisherman discovered the body caught in debris. A family member has since made a positive identification.

An extensive search was launched last month after the man’s family called to report him missing.

The family found the man’s van parked at the end of a road downstream from Swan Falls Dam. This was an area Clemens was known to frequently go and fish.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
