Wanted suspects involved in short standoff in Pocatello Costco parking lot
On Thursday afternoon at 3:30 p.m., Idaho State Police received information that two wanted subjects were on their way to the Costco store in Pocatello.
Upon locating the vehicle with the suspects inside in the Costco parking lot, law enforcement contacted management from Costco, having them keep customers inside the store for their own safety. Suspects initially did not comply with officer instructions to exit the vehicle. When suspects did comply with officer instructions to exit the vehicle, they were identified and confirmed as the wanted subjects.
A felony warrant for possession of methamphetamine was served on Tiffany A. Vining, 37, of Pocatello. Additional drug charges are pending.
Misdemeanor warrants for possession of a controlled substance and driving without privileges were served on Steven C. Converse-Laxton, 21, of Pocatello. Additional drug charges are pending.
