Man arrested overnight for punching a Boise Police officer
Boise Police responded to a report of a disturbance at a medical facility on East Bannock Street early this morning at 3:00 a.m.
Multiple witnesses tell police the Charles Killion, a 43-year old transient, who appeared to be drunk at the time, became combative with staff. At one point, witnesses tell police the Killion threatened to kill a staff member and charged towards him in an aggressive manner, causing the victim to fear for his safety.
Officers located the Killion as he was walking away from the facility. As officers approached him to speak with him, the he punched one of them in the chest without warning.
Killion was taken into custody and a search revealed around 3 grams total package weight of marijuana in a plastic bag. Killion was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on charges of Battery on an Officer, Assault and Possession of Marijuana.
