Credit card companies compromised
Officials from Visa and Mastercard say a data breach at a payment processing center has potentially compromised information.
The extent of the breach and what kind of information was compromised has not been confirmed. But more than 10 million cardholders could be affected.
The companies have warned card issuers of a potential risk. The breach is the subject of an ongoing forensic review by an independent security organization.
